There are signs that are more prominent than others in your chart, but having an ascendant in Libra in itself means that Libra is an important sign in your chart. But yes, Scorpio is especially important because the ruler of Libra, your ascendant, is Venus. Venus is in Scorpio in your chart, so Scorpio characteristics becomes more visible to others, even though your ascendant is Libra.

So here’s the basic point - Your ascendant is in Libra, which makes Libra a big part of your chart. But even though it’s in Libra - it has a Scorpio flavor. The amicability and pleasant aura of Libra rising has a Scorpio undertone, which creates a degree of visible intensity and intrigue around you. I think there’s a great potential for compatibility from the information you gave me.

* First, because his Venus is in Gemini, opposing your Sagittarius sun and trining your Venus in Aquarius. This means that you both require that you keep each other entertained and interested a lot in a relationship - boredom can get both of you guys out of the door pretty quick.  But, when you two come together, there’s this very easy and natural flow of communications, where barriers come down. And more importantly, you keep each other entertained very easily. So that boredom doesn’t exist between you two, because you’re both open minded and fascinated by new things, changes, and ideas. You two can openly explore that with each other because you’re both very adventurous and keep each other entertained so there’s this easy going and flowing relationship between the two of you. At times he might get doubts about being in a relationship (in general, really) so just allow him to be free as much as you’re comfortable.

* Next, your Capricorn Moon opposes his Cancer sun, sextiles his Pisces Moon and trines his Mars in Capricorn. He’s going to welcome very much the way you bring structure to his life, almost as if you bring his dreams into reality. He is often swept up in the power of his own emotions and the frustrations associated with that, and you are this voice of reality that can coax him out of that state. At times, you may find yourself almost like a baby sitter, though. Thanksgiving And The Gift of Mercury Retrograde

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. :) I’m sorry I haven’t answered all of your questions yet. I’ve been hopping off an on a few airplanes but I’ll get to those soon. :)

As you might know, right now, the planet Mercury is in Retrograde.

Mercury retrograde means that the planet Mercury appears to be going backwards in our view from space. But astrologically, what does it mean?

You know, Mercury Retrograde has a really bad reputation for messing up contracts, communications, gadgets and computers, but I actually think that it’s perfect timing for Thanksgiving that Mercury is retrograde.

Well, it usually happens about 3 to 4 times a year, for about 3 weeks time. When Mercury is retrograde, it usually means that communications can be misconstrued easily, that it’s a time for reflection instead of action. Other implications can be that your car and other electronics have technical difficulties. In general, the way we communicate with others in this world kind of goes haywire. In general, miscommunications, miswordings and other misunderstandings tend to become more common.

But, astrology always has a good side. And Thanksgiving is the best time for Mercury Retrograde to happen. Want to know why? Because Mercury Retrograde is a time for reflection, thinking about the past and how it can move you forward in the future. It’s about searching deep within yourself and seeing how your life has progressed and where to go next. It’s not a time for action, but for inward thinking. And what better time to do that than now, when you’re searching for reasons for why you’re thankful about life and those around you?

My main point is this; Fully immerse yourself in the spirit of reflection and finding thanks for what’s around you. Because Mercury Retrograde will help us make huge leaps forward and it’s telling us it’s an important time to do so. Don’t distract yourself from what’s important, and think deeply about what makes you thankful. Thanksgiving is a time of rewinding, rest, and contemplation on a spiritual level. Mercury Retrograde means you can make some really good realizations and come across all kinds of new appreciation for everything. It’s an astrologically very fruitful time to have this holiday, and to think about what you’re thankful about.
